Why is there a credit note on a voided invoice?

Streamlined uses double-entry accounting practices when managing receivables. Invoices and other ledger entries can't be deleted per se. This is done for auditing purposes as well. When you void an invoice, Streamlined automatically adds a credit note to cancel out the balance.
