Customize invoices and emails in Settings > Invoicing. There you set your logo and brand color, what the invoice body shows, and the email your customers get with a new invoice.
Add your logo and brand color
Under Personalization, click Select logo (or Replace logo), or drag an image onto the logo box.
Pick a Brand color for the headings and lines on your invoices and emails.
Logos must be smaller than 1 MB. The Preview invoice beside these settings updates as you go. Click What do my customers see? for a full preview. You can also change how invoice numbers look here.
Choose what the invoice shows
Under Invoice body, open a panel, make your change, and click Save. Each panel shows a preview.
Line items: Show additional details and Show item code (or Show product SKU). Shopify stores can also turn on Show UPC / barcode. If Streamlined asks to update your Shopify permissions first, click Update now.
Discount: Only show final price shows the discounted price without the original crossed out.
Notes: Include a message in every invoice adds your text, such as payment instructions, to every invoice.
Shipping & Tracking (Shopify stores): Show shipping and tracking details.
Edit an email template
Under Templates, New Invoice is the email sent with a new invoice. Customer Onboarding is the email sent when you approve a customer's application.
Click Edit messaging (✎) next to a template.
Change the Email Subject and Body, and check the Email preview on the right.
Click Save changes, or click Reset to default to start over.
Variables look like %{customer_name} and fill in details for each customer. The default text shows the ones each template uses, such as %{identifier} for the invoice number, %{business_name}, and %{sender_email}.
Tip: Copy a variable exactly as it appears in the default text. If one is missing its closing brace, the editor points it out before you can save.
Reminder and statement emails
Reminders and statements use Streamlined's standard wording. You choose when they go out in Settings > Collections. See automatic reminders.
