Send or export a statement

Share a customer's or group's statement, download it as a PDF or CSV, or email statements on a schedule.

Every customer and customer group has a statement. It lists their open invoices, split into Due now and Due later, and any available credit. You can share it, download it, or have Streamlined email statements on a schedule.

Share a statement

Open the customer and click View account statement, or open a group and click View group statement. The statement opens in a new tab. Its link is safe to send to your customer. From it, they can pay invoices. An individual customer can also set up QuickPay there.

Download a statement

  1. Open the customer or group.

  2. Click Download statement.

  3. Choose PDF, or CSV to open it in Excel or Google Sheets.

To download several at once, select up to 25 customers in Customers, or groups in Customers > Groups, and click Download statements. You get a PDF for each.

Email statements automatically

  1. Go to Settings > Collections and open Account statements.

  2. Turn on Enable automatic statement emails.

  3. Choose a Frequency, from weekly to twice a year.

  4. Choose Send on: the first day, the last day, or a specific day.

  5. Choose your Statement Recipients, then click Save changes.

To skip some customers, turn on Exclude customers based on tags under Exceptions. It doesn't skip group statements.

Statement recipients

  • Only individual customers: a statement for each customer, and none for groups. This is the default.

  • All customers, and customer groups: every customer gets their own, and each group also gets one for all its members.

  • Customers not in a group, and customer groups: group members get only their group's statement.

Note: The two group options need Scale or Enterprise.

Who gets a statement email

Streamlined skips a statement email when:

  • the customer has no open balance;

  • pending payments already cover the balance;

  • the customer is archived.

On Enterprise, statements go to the Statements email. Otherwise, they go to the email on the customer's preferred billing address. See where customer emails go.

If a statement doesn't look right, email help@streamlinedpayments.com with the customer's name and the invoice numbers in question.

Who can use this feature?

  • Team members with Customers access, to view and download statements

  • Team members with Settings access, to schedule statement emails

  • Available on all plans. Group statement emails need Scale or Enterprise.
