Choose which team alerts you get

Pick who on your team is emailed when payments arrive or fail, refunds and chargebacks happen, deposits are paid, or customers apply.

Streamlined emails your team about payments and applications. You choose who gets each alert in Settings > Account > Notifications. Anyone on your team can turn their own alerts on or off.

The alerts you can get

  • Payment received: a payment lands on one or more invoices.

  • Payment failed: a card or bank debit payment fails.

  • Refund issued: someone on your team issues a refund on an invoice.

  • Chargeback received: your customer's bank takes back a bank transfer that had already cleared. A card dispute doesn't send this alert. See chargebacks.

  • Deposit paid: a customer pays a deposit link.

  • New customer application: a customer submits your sign-up form.

Turn your own alerts on or off

  1. Go to Settings > Account > Notifications.

  2. Under Email notifications, find the alert.

  3. To stop it, click the x on your own email. To get it, click Add me or +.

  4. To change all of yours at once, click Unsubscribe from all or Subscribe to all.

Changes save straight away.

Change who else gets an alert

  1. Go to Settings > Account > Notifications.

  2. Click + on an alert.

  3. Pick a teammate, or type any email address, such as a shared inbox, and click Add.

  4. To take someone off, click the x on their email.

Note: An alert with nobody on it reads No recipients and isn't sent. Make sure someone gets Payment failed and Chargeback received.

When you remove someone from your team, their alerts stop. Any alert that would then have nobody on it goes to the account owner.

Emails you can't turn off

Some emails go only to the person they concern, such as password resets, team invites, and exports you asked for. These always send.

Emails to your customers are set elsewhere. See automatic reminders and where customer emails go.

Getting text messages

Streamlined's team alerts are emails. If you're getting text messages about payments that you can't turn off here, email help@streamlinedpayments.com with an example and the phone number receiving them.
