Change your payout bank account

Update the bank account your payouts go to, from the Stripe account Streamlined set up for you.

Your payouts go to the bank account on file in the Stripe account Streamlined set up for you. You change it in Stripe, which Streamlined opens from your payment settings.

Change the bank account

  1. Go to Settings > Payments.

  2. Under Payouts, click Login to with the Stripe logo.

  3. In the new tab, sign in to Stripe if it asks you to.

  4. Open your account settings in Stripe and update your bank details.

Stripe may ask you to verify your identity or the new account. Both kinds of payout, Stripe Settlements and Settlements, go to this account.

Note: Payouts already on their way still go to the old account.

Finish Stripe setup first

If Payouts shows Complete setup with Stripe instead, your Stripe account isn't finished. Click it, complete the steps, and add your bank account there. Payouts can't be sent until setup is complete.

Check which account a payout went to

Go to Reports > Payouts and click a payout. Under Payout details, a Settlements payout shows the last four digits of the account it was paid to.

When you can't change it yourself

If Stripe won't let you change or remove your default bank account, or you can't sign in to Stripe, email help@streamlinedpayments.com. Send it from the email address on your Streamlined account. Include your business name and the last four digits of the account you want to stop using.

Note: Never send full account numbers by email.

Payouts and your Streamlined bill

Your payout bank account is separate from the payment method that pays your Streamlined subscription. Change that one on the Plans & Billing tab under Settings > Account. For more on payout timing, see how payouts work.
