To stop QuickPay for a customer, remove their saved payment method from their Billing tab. Automatic charges stop straight away, and invoices already charged stay paid.
Remove a saved payment method
Open the customer and go to the Billing tab.
In the QuickPay section, click Remove.
Click Yes to confirm.
The section then reads "No payment method on file". Your customer pays future invoices the usual way. Your regular reminders reach them again.
Stop charges from a group's billing account
When a customer's group has a Billing Account, its saved method pays every member's invoices. To stop those charges, do one of these:
Open the customer that is the billing account and click Remove there.
Edit the group and click Clear billing account. Members then go back to paying for themselves.
Change a customer's card or bank account
Your customer can update it from their statement page with Update QuickPay. You can also click Edit in the QuickPay section to email them a link.
Refund a charge that already ran
Removing QuickPay doesn't reverse past charges. If your customer didn't mean to enroll, or paid twice, refund the charge.
Open the payment from the invoice or from Transactions.
Click Refund and enter the Refund amount.
Click Issue refund.
The refund goes back to the card or bank account that was charged. See refund a payment.
Note: A payment can be refunded only once the money has cleared, so a bank account charge may need a few business days first.
Delete a customer's details
If your customer asks for their card or bank details to be deleted entirely, email help@streamlinedpayments.com with the customer's name and what they asked for.
To learn when charges run, see how QuickPay charges.
