Go to Settings > Checkout to choose which payment methods customers can use on invoices and deposit requests, and how QuickPay appears when they pay. A Checkout preview shows the payment page as your customers see it.
Choose payment options
Go to Settings > Checkout, which opens on the Invoice tab.
Under Payment options, use the toggles for Bank transfer, Bank debit, Lockbox, and Card payment.
Click Save changes.
If you take deposits, the Deposit tab sets the methods for deposit requests the same way. On a phone, click Preview what customers see to open the preview.
Changes reach invoices you've already sent. Checkout reads your settings when a customer pays. Turning a method off removes it from open invoices too.
You always need one method. The last method on a tab can't be turned off.
Turning a method off on both tabs turns it off everywhere. Streamlined tells you before you save.
Note: Checkout lists the methods you've set up in Settings > Payments. If one isn't listed, set it up or turn it on there first. See which payment methods your customers can use.
Offer cards only to some customers
When Card payment is on, tick Only offer card payments to customers with these tags and enter one or more customer tags. Streamlined lists the customers who match. Only they see card at checkout. The Invoice and Deposit tabs each have their own list.
Set QuickPay at checkout
QuickPay needs Card payment or Bank debit turned on. The QuickPay section on the Invoice tab sets what happens when a customer pays by card or bank account:
Pre-selected: saving the payment method for QuickPay is ticked. Customers can untick it.
Unselected: it's not ticked. Customers can opt in when they pay.
Required: the card or bank account they pay with is always saved to QuickPay.
Click Save changes under the section.
Tip: To set QuickPay for the onboarding form instead, go to Settings > Customers. See what QuickPay is.
